Last updated 12 October 2026
This policy explains how Approsyz ("Approsyz", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit approsyz.com or contact us. We are the controller of the personal data described here.
You can reach us about anything in this policy at approsyzconsulting@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Enquiry form. Your name, work email, company, role, the area you are interested in, your monthly cloud spend range, your message, and a record that you agreed to us contacting you.
- Email and calls. If you contact us directly, we keep the correspondence and any notes we make.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider processes your IP address and basic request details, such as browser and device type and the pages you ask for, to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers.
How we use it, and why
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and taking steps at your request before a contract.
- To deliver services under a contract with you or your organization. Our lawful basis is performance of that contract.
- To keep the site secure and working. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in protecting our systems.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations. Our lawful basis is legal obligation.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to or give your consent.
Who we share it with
We use service providers who process data on our behalf and under our instructions:
- Netlify, which hosts this site and receives submissions from the enquiry form.
- Email providers, currently Google (Gmail) and Zoho Mail, which deliver form notifications and our correspondence.
- Professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, where we need their advice.
We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it.
Transfers outside the UK
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on safeguards recognized under UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and, if we work together, for the length of our relationship and the period the law requires after it ends. We delete or anonymize personal data we no longer need.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or move it to another provider. You can also object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it. To use any of these rights, email us at the address above. We will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections to this site and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
